Course Description:
National Safety Council, Nebraska Babysitting Training prepares 11 to 15 year olds to care for infants and children safely and with confidence. The class follows the American Academy of Pediatrics Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training curriculum.
Course Includes:
- Basic First Aid, CPR, AED, and choking care
- How to handle an illness or injury
- How to stay safe while babysitting
- Babysitting basics including changing diapers, feeding, and burping
- How to have fun while babysitting!
Participants receive a handbook and class completion card.
Price includes a boxed lunch. Turkey on white bread, chips, cookie and water will be served. Please provide a sack lunch if that is not sufficient.
When registering your child, please use his or her name so that it will appear as the attendee. Use the parent name for billing.
First Aid, CPR, Child Care Classes, and Emergency Care Series:
Registration policy: Advanced registration is required. For a full refund or to avoid a rescheduling fee, notice of changes must be given at least 5 business days before the class. A $25 cancellation/rescheduling fee will be issued to changes made within 5 business days prior to class. There are no refunds on no-shows. We reserve the right to cancel a class in advance. In this case, NSCN will provide rescheduling at no fee.
