For your fleet team
NSC Fleet Essentials
Your fleet is only as safe as the people behind the wheel. Fleet Essentials gives drivers the knowledge and skills they need to prevent crashes, reduce costs, and make it home safely every day.
On average, nearly 2,000 people die in work-related driving incidents each year. That is nearly 40% of the year’s workplace fatalities. To help ensure employees make it home safely, NSC developed Fleet Essentials, a series of online courses you can use to educate drivers and ensure they make it home safely each day.
In the U.S., motor vehicle crashes cost employers more than $3 billion annually. Training drivers not only saves lives, it lowers insurance costs and helps avoid driving violations such as DOT 392.2. It also reduces repair, maintenance, and vehicle replacement costs. And, by helping drivers become safe vehicle operators, it may help prevent the catastrophic results of a legal verdict.
Leverage your past NSC training and encourage drivers to earn a Safe Operator Designation by completing an NSC Defensive Driving course, Fleet Essentials core courses, and a vehicle-specific course. For more information, contact NSC.
