Diversion & Behavior Programs

Whether you’re meeting a court requirement or looking to build healthier habits, we’re here to help. Our Diversion and Behavior Programs provide practical education, guidance, and resources to help you move forward with confidence.

Diversion Program

The Diversion Program offers eligible individuals a one-time opportunity to complete court-ordered requirements and avoid a criminal conviction. Requirements vary by case and may include classes, community service, or other program conditions outlined in your agreement.

Community Service Requirements and Log Sheet

Community service is a required part of the Diversion Program. After completing your community service hours, you’ll need to document them using a Community Service Log Sheet.

  • Choose an agency(s) from one of the Community Service Agency Lists and call to schedule your volunteer hours.
  • If you want to volunteer at an organization not listed on one of the Community Service Agency Lists, you must have pre-approval from the Diversion Director or Supervisor before volunteering to ensure those hours will be accepted.
  • Complete your required community service hours each month and record them on a Community Service Log Sheet.
  • Use a separate Community Hours Log Sheet for each organization where you volunteer.
  • A representative from each organization must sign your log sheet to verify your hours.
  • Submit your completed log sheet(s) every month by the deadline listed in your Program Agreement.
  • You may complete hours at several agencies, but you must complete a Community Service Log Sheet for each organization at which you volunteer.
  • You may complete more hours than your monthly minimum; any additional hours will carry over to the next month.

Submit Community Service Hours

Once you’ve completed your community service, submit your signed log sheet by the monthly deadline in your Program Agreement.
