Overview
Knowing the appropriate action to take in an emergency situation can save lives. National Safety Council – Nebraska Chapter’s first aid course gives the confidence to react quickly and effectively and makes it easy to receive First Aid training in Spanish. The eLearning portion of the course features video curriculum and an online quiz to receive the eLearning Certificate of Completion.
Once the online portion is complete, an in-person hands-on skills test is required at either the Omaha or Lincoln NSCN facility. The skills testing portion must be set up with the Emergency Care Program Manager when there is an instructor in the building. A copy of the eLearning certificate of completion is required to skills test. Skills testing for First Aid only takes at least 30 minutes.
The curriculum meets or exceeds state, OSHA guidelines. Students who successfully complete the online program and skills testing will receive a nationally recognized NSC course completion card valid for 2 years.
