Overview

Learn CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) through a flexible online course designed to fit your schedule. The Online CPR & AED course combines self-paced eLearning with an in-person skills evaluation to help you build the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to respond during a cardiac emergency.

The online portion includes video instruction and a quiz. After completing the eLearning course, participants must complete a hands-on skills test at an NSCN Omaha or Lincoln facility.

The course meets or exceeds state, OSHA, and American Heart Association guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Participants who successfully complete both portions receive a nationally recognized National Safety Council CPR/AED course completion card valid for two years.
