Overview
Driving a van isn’t the same as driving a car. Commercial vans are larger, heavier, and have different handling characteristics, including bigger blind spots and longer stopping distances. Without proper training, drivers may not recognize the risks that come with operating these vehicles.
The Coaching the Van Driver course helps employees and volunteers develop the skills they need to safely operate vans for work, transportation, and passenger services. Participants learn how to adjust their driving techniques, recognize hazards, and reduce the risk of crashes.
