Course Description:
This course is designed for individuals who are moving into their first leadership/supervisory position. Though they may not be a safety manager or director by title, they have a crucial role to play in ensuring safe work practices are adhered to and the success of safety programs overall. This course will emphasize leadership and management principles.
Course Includes:
- Supervisor’s role & responsibilities with respect to safety
- Safety Culture
- Injury reporting & basic incident investigation
- Coaching skills
- Basic regulatory requirements: HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, Emergency Action Plans, Personal Protective Equipment, and others.
