Real people. Real stories. Real tragedy.

Every heart has a story to tell. Below are the stories from family, friends, and loved ones of these four victims of distracted driving. We must realize that life is more important than anything that takes our eyes off the road. Next time you hit the road, silence the distractions.

Paul's Story

Paul Troupe had such a bright future.  He had graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.  He was married two weeks later and began his career at Boeing with his new wife, Sarah.

And then the unthinkable – a Distracted, Fatigued Driver took his life.

Distracted Driving Affected the Troupe family, their friends and the community.

An empty seat at the table shouldn't be part of your holiday plans.

Ashley's story didn't end that day.  Her family, insistent on keeping her memory alive, erected a memorial on the corner of 132nd and Blondo.  The memorial continued to touch the lives of people that never knew the Wooden family, never knew Ashley, but wanted to support the family.

5 years after her death, Pastor Robert Murphy, wrote this blog.  10 years after her death, the Wooden family read the blog.  Today we must make a change.

Love yourself. Love your family. Silence the Distractions.
