Get ready to ride safely for the 2013 riding season by completing our Basic Rider Course motorcycle safety training sanctioned by the MSF-Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Nebraska DMV. Complete the entire course and pass our written and range evaluations, then take your MSF completion card to the DMV and get your motorcycle endorsement added to your Nebraska Operator's License!

The state of Nebraska requires you to have an endorsement on your operator's license before you ride. Earn your MSF completion card with us. You do not need a motorcycle learner's permit or endorsement to take our course.
To take our course, you must have either a Nebraska issued learner's permit, or a Nebraska issued driver license. Sorry, but with the exception of our Military programs, we cannot accept out of state students for online registrations. If you have an Iowa license, please call for options..

How To Enroll
Choose your schedule, click on "Register", and sign up with a credit / debit card!
Please note: At registration, you must enter your full First and Last name exactly as it appears on your Nebraska operator's license. Discrepancies will result in delays when you attempt to add your motorcycle endorsement.
REQUIRED RIDING GEAR for all motorcycle safety courses at the range: DOT approved helmet (some loaner helmets are available) and eye protection (eyeglasses or sunglasses are acceptable). Long, non-flare denim pants or material of equivalent durability, over-the-ankle footwear, long-sleeved shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves, preferably leather and rain gear (sessions continue when raining)

Motorcycle Safety Rider Courses
Motorcycle 101 (MC101)
In these very small classes you will earn basic motorcycle skills/controls using our motorcycles. See the FAQ's for the riding gear you'll need.
MC 101 meets on Sunday's at 11620 M Circle, Omaha, lower level. 8am to 1pm - sign in, then onto the range until approximately 1pm. Reservations are required. Please register in advance.

Basic Rider Course (BRC) – Earn your Nebraska DMV Motorcycle Endorsement! This Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) course is designed for new or returning riders and teaches everything you need to know to ride safely!
Successfully passing the course evaluations (written and range) earns the Nebraska Operator’s License Motorcycle Endorsement – just take your MSF completion card to the DMV and they will add the endorsement to your license. You will use our motorcycles in the course, but you will need all required gear to participate. See the FAQ's for information on gear.
Choose either the M -morning range or N-afternoon range session
Classroom sessions are held at the Council 11620 M Circle - southeast of 120th and L streets
Current range sessions for the BRC, BRC2 and the SBRC are held at 12900 I street - west end of the Millard Lumber employee parking lot.

Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC2)– For experienced riders – plus NOW earn your Nebraska DMV Motorcycle Endorsement!

This course is designed for those individuals with motorcycling experience.
Refresh, sharpen and learn new riding skills. Whether you ride a sport bike or a cruiser you will gain the knowledge/skills that will help you decrease your chances of being involved in a collision.
You’ will ride your motorcycle for this course, so it will need to be in top condition. We'll perform an inspection before you ride.
Experienced Rider Coaches will evaluate your skills and provide specific advice on how to improve your abilities.
Bonus: Some insurers give a discount after you complete this course!
Requirements: Your motorcycle and at least one year of riding experience with approximately 3,000 miles ridden and all required riding gear.
Successfully passing the course written and range evaluations earns the Nebraska Operator’s License Motorcycle Endorsement - just take your MSF completion card to the DMV and they will add the endorsement to your license.
Currently the course is held on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm-rain or shine - bring rain gear , Rider Coaches will give breaks, so bring something to drink to keep hydrated.
The entire session is held on the range - 12900 I street - west end of the Millard Lumber employee parking lot.

MSF Scooter Basic Ride Course (SBRC) –Earn your Nebraska DMV Scooter Endorsement! Endorsement needed if the engine rated capacity is 45cc or greater per Nebraska State Statue 60-636.
**SBRC -pre-range equipment checklist
This course is a basic, entry-level, learn-to-ride scooter training and education course. Participants learn similar fundamental skills as in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course, but the entire class uses scooters. The curriculum follows the basic template of the BRC and **you will use your scooter and you will need all required riding gear. Successfully passing the course evaluations (classroom and range) earns the Nebraska Operator’s License Scooter Endorsement - Just take your MSF completion card to the DMV and they will add the (MZ) endorsement to your license.

Payment, Reschedule, Cancellation and Refund policy
MC101, BRC, BRC2 and SBRC
Advance registration/payment is required. Confirmation, including training sites, will be e-mailed or mailed upon registration.
We realize that your schedule may change at the last minute and/or emergencies may occur preventing you from attending. Understand that the motorcycle safety training classes fill up fast and there is a high demand for each class.
Once registered, we do not refund tuition or fees for cancellations, no shows, or reschedules unless we can place another student in your slot. Please advise us as soon as possible of your need to reschedule or cancel. A (7) seven day advanced notice to reschedule or cancel will greatly increase the odds that we will be able to find a replacement.
All changes are subject either to our Reschedule/Refund Policy even if we are able to fill the slot you vacate. We reserve the right to change or cancel classes. In that event, the above policy does not apply.
